Rakou is building golf for the rest of your week.
We’re a golf lifestyle brand connecting the digital and IRL sides of the game. Our app turns golf practice into a game through missions, progress, rewards and competition, giving people a reason to stay connected to golf even when they’re not at the course.
Think new golf culture, with a game at the center of it.
We’re looking for a growth intern to help us get Rakou in front of more golfers and experiment with how an early consumer brand grows.
What you'll work on
You’ll work directly with the founder across content, creators, community and growth experiments.
- Find golf creators and communities we should know
- Reach out to creators and potential partners
- Help create and publish social content
- Research golf, creator and internet trends
- Come up with content and growth ideas and test them
- Help run small campaigns, launches and experiments
- Talk to early users and learn what makes them stay
- Track what's working and help us do more of it
This isn’t an internship where you’ll spend three months making decks.
You’ll actually ship things.
You might be a good fit if
- You spend way too much time on TikTok, Instagram or internet culture
- You understand what makes content feel native rather than like an ad
- You can make things yourself and move quickly
- You have good visual and creative taste
- You're curious about why some brands become culturally relevant and others don't
- You're interested in golf, gaming, consumer apps, creators or culture
- You're comfortable trying things that might not work
You don’t need previous startup experience. You don’t need a marketing degree. And you definitely don’t need to be a great golfer.
We care more about taste, curiosity and initiative than what’s on your résumé.

Rakou is a Delaware C-Corp and our primary market is the US. You can work from anywhere, but you should understand US internet and consumer culture.
